One Indulgence

One Indulgence - Lydia Gastrell First of all, thank you so much, SS! (I know, almost 2 weeks reading this, but I don't have that much time at this point)

I'm a sucker for a good historical romance, and this provided everything I needed in it!

The first pages are a bit boring, so in the beginning I had to make an effort to get in it but once inside I just didn't want to go out. The story is slow-burning although the opening fools you into thinking the opposite. It was very similar to Ava March so I expected lots of sex scenes and a final but rushed declaration of love. But that's not even close. Good setting, better 1800s atmosphere and awesome heroes. Slow as an iceberg but in the good sense, because I wanted to see every motion of the movie and I wasn't disappointed.
